Cabin Fever

Wow! I can't get over how much snow we've received in the past week. Ten inches from a snow storm (complete with thunder and lightning) last Thursday and Friday and then the latest big round dropped another 6 to 7 inches on Sunday/Monday with an inch or two more this morning. Somehow, we have managed to stay sane at our house, but barely. These are some of the things we did during our snow days.
Dug into Maggie's makeup that she received for her birthday. The lip gloss/sticks were a big hit.
"Come on mommy. You try."
Such beautiful lips.
Blue nail polish. We all received makeovers on Thursday.
"Sure, this looks fun." Maggie insisted on going outside.
An attempt at making a snowman. The snow wasn't the best for packing, at least I didn't think so.
Jackie attempting to build one.
What a poser!
The snow pile is almost as tall as Liam.
Say cheese!
Yep, 10 inches.
That's a big snow ball!
That's more like it.
Such sweetness.
Little hands.
King of the Snow Mountain.
Until he fell down.

And then we decided to play zombie! Mommy and her camera were the favorite targets.
This big guy is going to be 1 year-old soon. He is a chunk - so heavy!

Scary zombies!

Zombie or vampire? Not sure in this one.

Daddy and Matthew.
Playing together.
"I didn't do it!"
Super Hero play.
Little Fairy Princess.
Maggie is such an angel -she's already got her wings.
"How do you work this thing again?"
"Is it dinner time yet?"

Fun with Photoshop

I don't want to sleep...

I just want to bang a pot on my dad's head all night.

Matthew is our party boy. He likes to stay up until 10:30, 11 until mommy and daddy are thoroughly exhausted then he'll reluctantly go to bed. Thank God for the creation of caffeine.

Diaper Duty

Oh Baby, Baby.

Mr. Matthew being cute as ever.

Thank Goodness for Motrin.

Bond, Liam Bond

Mr. Sophisticated - cool and calm.
Ladies man.

Off to fight crime.

A Hello Kitty Party!

We celebrated Maggie's birthday with a fun party on Saturday. We were blessed to have many of our family and friends there including Jack and Liam's birth families! There was a lot of love in that school basement.

Matthew was not a happy camper. Took him to the doctor today and he has an ear infection. My sad little baby. And he wanted his momma most of the time.

A future graduate of the Big Flirt University.

It was a Hello Kitty kind of Day.

She doesn't seem too excited but she wasn't crying. Liam did decide to help himself to some icing before we were ready to serve the cake. Some things never change.
She liked her cake, icing and ice cream. Maggie was a happy girl.

Fun manicure set with dollars shaped into hearts - very neat idea. Maggie was thrilled to rip the hearts off the tape.

Reading one of her birthday cards.

Does this come in my size? Maggie is going to be a fashionista this summer.

 There's a smile.

Jack and Meaghan kept posing for my nephew Christopher who had apps that, well, let's see, killed them with heat seeking missiles, bombed them, stomped them with a transformer type robot and let their behinds give birth to an alien. They thought it was so cool. It's obvious that we are fortunate to live in a country where planes that fly overhead are non threatening.

 Working it.

 You go Miss Thang.

And Mike, well, you just go. He was modeling Maggie's crown.
My niece's artwork of her fish on display in the school basement.

An image of all the pictures from the most recent parish directory made into the shape of the church and surrounding scenery. Somewhere on there are pictures of my mom and dad and my brother and his family. Very neat.
