My Little Equestrian

 Maggie will begin taking therapeutic rides at a local equestrian center next week. Last night was orientation. Even though the horse was gentle, Maggie wanted to keep her distance.

 We found some feline friends in the barn.

 

The kids thought the toy horse was pretty neat. Jack is a natural born horseman.

 Matthew even got in on the action.

 Have you ever seen such a ham on a horse?

 Future veterinarian?

Maggie was fitted with the helmet size she will wear starting next Wednesday. I think I'm more excited than she is about this opportunity. Growing up, I always wanted a horse, but I hope that in time Maggie Rose will enjoy her sessions.
