I love a man who can wear pink. :)
My baby will be 7 months old tomorrow. Wow - where has the time gone? Matthew has four teeth and can crawl and sit on his own now. Such a big boy! I love my little monkey boy.

First Pony Tail!
Normally, Maggie doesn't want anything in her hair. So, we had a great time yesterday when she decided that she wanted a pony tail just like mommy.
So cute! Of course, it didn't stay in very long.
Exploring the Zoo
We had a great day on Saturday. We met Jack's birth family at the zoo. He was so excited when he learned that we were going to hang out with them for the day. Jack's birth mother, her husband, their son and Jack's uncle joined us.
This was probably the scariest thing we saw at the zoo. :)
Jack, his half-brother and Liam.
The cool walrus exhibit.
Jack and his brother apin' around.
Mike and his new best friend.
Things didn't look good in the ape exhibit where we found a lost shoe.
Do you mind? I'm trying to clean myself.
Three greats at the penguin exhibit.
The zoo was decorated for Fall/Halloween.
A Prairie Dawg.
My little bug.
We saw the animal that Jack really wanted to see at the end - elephants!

An Evening with Matt Roloff
And dozens of others.
Matt was a guest speaker Tuesday evening for Celebrate Ability Week.
He had a powerful message about perseverance regardless of a person's challenges or stature. Matt is a great example of what a person can achieve if they stick their mind to it. A great evening!

My Job
I love my job! Today, I had the opportunity to ride a dinner train during a celebration to promote the local short line's 25th anniversary. My co-worker and I shot video during the ride for a future story. It was fun but I wish Jack could have been here. He loves trains!

Moon Festival
We are blessed to be a part of the local Families with Children From China group. Members of the group host get-togethers throughout the year. In addition, a larger adoption group including people who have completed domestic adoptions get together a couple of times. On Saturday, we celebrated the Moon Festival. Of course, Jack easily made a new friend.
I am starting to become the mom who is asked by her kids to "Hold this!" when they are tired of playing with something. Here, I have deposited a paper airplane in my hair. Maggie doesn't look very thrilled by my hair dressing skills.
Getting ready to leave on the truck hay ride.
Liam and I kept each other warm on the ride. Mom and a friend were watching the two littlest at the house.
Jack of many expressions: first the smelly cow, don't breathe look.
Then we were all told to hold our breath as we crossed over the river.
When we returned, we sang Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. It was a beautiful evening and we had so much fun!
My Dandelion Bouquet
My boys were so sweet this weekend, collecting dandelions from our yard and giving them to me. "Hurry, mom," Jack said once. "This one needs water or it's going to die."
